Inspired by the Forest is a brand new exciting creative retail project by the Dean Heritage Centre, working in collaboration with local artists to create merchandise, specifically inspired by the Forest of Dean.

This amazing opportunity will give local artists an extensive platform to raise their profile, with the products being sold in the Dean Heritage Centre gift shop, online and in other retail outlets across the region. 

Images will be licensed from the artists and initially used on notebooks, mugs and signs, as the project grows the product ranges will evolve and expand.

Deadline for artists entry was Sunday 19th November 2023

Our panel is currently selecting a number of designs/ideas from the submissions for a shortlist.

If you are shortlisted we will need to see the final image(s), once these have been received the final decision will be made.

Be aware that if selected you will be credited for your work - there are various ways we will do this including, but not limited to

• Your signature on the image(s)

• Tagged on social media

• Credit on website/advertising
